Meet the writer

Our lead writer and founder is Steven Henderson.

Steven is a professional communicator with a passion for well-crafted words that articulately convey the message of one person to another. In other words, he’s good at writing effective speeches for others. He is a fan of comedy movies that he shouldn’t be a fan of and spends far too much time on social media.  In his professional life he has helped prepare speeches for leaders, politicians and executives. Steven is also a semi-professional wedding participant, having twice being a best man and emcee a number of times. His love of wedding speeches started when he wrote and successfully delivered his first wedding speech while in high school.

He writes from the heart with a side of thought worked in. Steven finds out what you’d like to express and handcrafts this into a memorable little piece of spoken word.

How we work

  • Initial consultation – we listen to you to learn about what it is you will be speaking about, who you will be speaking to and when. We will ask some question, you will ask some questions and there will be answers for everybody! When can do this over the phone, via Skype, we can even meet you face to face if the occasion demands.
  • Proposal – once we understand the message you want to get across, . If you’re happy with what we propose, payment can occur and we are away.
  • Questionnaire – a personalised list of questions will be sent to you so we can find out more information about you, your subject and your audience.
  • First Draft – the moment of truth, you get to see what we’ve put down in words. Provide us with your edits and we will tidy these up.
  • Final Draft – over to you, the final version of your speech arrives ready to go
